ORGANIZATIONAL OBJECTIVES

- empowering the partnerś role of patients in the patient-doctor dialogue

- in cooperation with CML experts providing educationals programs (systemic, sustainable, nation-wide outreach)

• BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ORGANIZATION

Diagnoza CML is a support group formed by patients, their family members and friends. It was founded in Prague on February 9, 2006 with the aim to address patients in all the six clinics over the country specializing in the treatment of CML. Advisory board formed by 9 hematologists,  clinical psychologist, laboratory expert in molecular biology. Cooperative group of 3 nurses 

current membership: 192 members

KEY PROGRAMS

- Patient Days (yearly cycle of 5 Regional meetings providing medical updates) and Patient Clubhouse (community patient meetings at regions on 1-3 monthly basis, providing mutual psychological support)
