We are looking forward to the 14th CML Horizons conference, held in Ljubljana / Slovenia on 6-8 May 2016. The CML Horizons Steering Committee has worked hard to ensure that the conference includes topics of importance to the CML patient community, and provides a unique opportunity for participants to share experiences and best practice. We hope that as a result of this meeting, CML patient groups globally will improve their capacity to meet the needs of their patients, and strengthen their advocacy activities.

CML Horizons 2016 starts on Friday, 6 May 2016 at 9:00 with an introductory "CML 101 / Horizons 101" session. The conference ends on Sunday, 8 May 2016 at 14:00, followed by a city tour for those staying over. The program features world-renowned CML experts.Confirmed speakers are Gianantonio Rosti from Italy and others. We will also have interesting practical advocacy sessions featuring e.g. Kris Rogers from SimplyGiving (Malaysia). REGISTRATION PROCESS, TRAVEL COSTS AND CONFERENCE FEE
Leaders of CML patient organisations, the faculty and representatives of sponsors are eligible to participate in CML Horizons 2016. All delegates are required to register as soon as possible but no later than by 1 April 2016 on our registration website at http://www.cmladvocates.net/cmlhorizons/cmlhorizons2016. Please read the sections about the conference fee, travel arrangements and visas before registering for the conference.
As in previous years, please contact local sponsors in your country as soon as possible to cover your travel and conference fee! In addition, a very limited number of travel scholarships are available for patient advocates who are not able to raise local sponsors and fund their travels. Please check the eligibility criteria for a scholarship here.
